Player - Code of Conduct

All players must:

  • Be respectful to all other players, coaches, referees, and officials
  • Abide by the rules of the game
  • Be respectful, friendly, and professional towards my teammates
  • Respect the facilities used during games and training
  • Attend any training sessions with a professional and attentive attitude
  • Refrain from swearing or other abusive behaviours
  • Never engage in bullying behaviour
  • Never attend PFC activities or events while under the influence of illicit substances

 

 

Officials - Code of Conduct

All PFC officials (Coaches, Referees, Team Managers, Committee Members, etc) must:

  • Place the safety and welfare of the players/participants above all else.
  • Accept responsibility for all actions taken.
  • Be impartial, consistent, objective and courteous when making decisions.
  • Avoid any situation which may lead to a conflict of interest.
  • Respect the rights, dignity and worth of all people involved in the game regardless of their gender, ability or cultural background.
  • Be a positive role model and ensure comments are positive and supportive.
  • Value the individual in sport.
  • Condemn any unsporting behaviour and promote respect for the individuality of players.
  • Keep up to date with the rules of the game and the application of same.
  • Wherever practical, avoid unaccompanied and unobserved one-on-one activity (when in a supervisory capacity or where a power imbalance will exist) with people under the age of 18 years.
